Story of Plegyas

Like a Story from the Divine Comedy

Did you notice the picture? There is an old bearded man shaking an oar over the turbulent vortices of a rough and violent river. The man is ‘taming the flow’ of that furious river — and if that sounds like running a business in modern times, it probably is so.

The image was inspired by a story in the ‘Inferno’ of the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri (1265 -1321). Phlegyas was the only daemon with the power to cross the river Styx, the river at the boundary between Earth and the Underworld. With this power, Phlegyas would ferry the souls of the dead to the Underworld.

This story superbly represents the idea of TameFlow!

Like Phlegyas taming the flow of waves on the river Styx, TameFlow will ‘tame the flow’ of work, money, information and even well-being throughout your organization. If you are looking for new ways to manage knowledge-work, and make customers, stakeholders and employees happy, you have come to the right place. You are welcome to discover more!
